Looking for something new and different to do on a Friday night? Come check out The Spot!!!

The Spot is our newest DiversityWorks program designed, developed, and delivered by youth. Every Friday night from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm youth are welcome to drop by, have great food, and discuss issues that most affect them.

The Spot offers a safe environment to discuss issues that impact our community and is open to all. Our amazing crew of youth facilitators coordinate every aspect of the program which includes choosing monthly themes and developing different aspects of that theme over weekly topics.

Past themes have included "The Power of the Media", "Poetry and Social Justice", and More Than Sex-Love and Relationships". These weekly topics relating to the theme of the month are used to focus discussions.

The Spot features dynamic youth facilitators, fun interactive activities, and exciting guest speakers.

Our goal is to provide other youth with the knowledge to comprehend and begin to counter the ignorance, prejudice, and discrimination that we face every day.
